Buses

You have two options when you choose to see Antigua by bus. Either you can view the island by the government run buses or by privately owned buses. Antigua has two main bus stations located in St. John’s. Serving both the North and East areas of the island is the East Bus Station on Independence Avenue. The West Bus Station covers the towns in the southern and western areas of Antigua. This stop is near St. John’s market. If you are looking for the least expensive and most adventurous way to capture a view of this island these bus routes are definitely the answer.  The second option for traveling by bus is to check out the privately owned 12 and 28 seat buses that cater to visitors by offering countless tours and packages to make your experience hassle-free.
