Sailing Week

In 1967 twenty-four aged wooden boats arrived to participate in the Lord Nelson Regatta. Since then the regatta has grown to be the largest regatta held in the Caribbean and close to being the largest in the world. Antigua Sailing Week begin during the last week of April and commences after a period of one week (30th April 2000 - 6th May 2000). Although this regatta attracts many novice racers and sailors, you certainly do not have to be competing to enjoy this spectacular event. As the regatta takes off numerous activities are taking place on shore.
